3D EXPRESSION OF CLAUS PROCESS 
(HYDROGEN SULFIDE OXIDATION TO SULFUR)



For the first time in sulfur recovery technology Dr. Tofik K. Khanmamedov expressed the relationship between equilibrium conversion of hydrogen sulfide to sulfur (nH₂S + n/ 2O₂↔ S_n + nH₂O), temperature and concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the acid gases by using 3D graph technique. This new approach helps to understand the unique and complicated thermodynamic of the process of hydrogen sulfide oxidation to sulfur.
